Heavy hearts

IndyWest HOG Chapter
It is with heavy heart that we come to you this morning. Our friend Deb Sarmiento has passed away.
If you shopped at the dealerships over the past couple of years you surely had to have some interaction with Deb. She worked in Motor Clothes and was the Motor Clothes Manager before she left. Deb also went on a few rides with our chapter.
Please keep her family and her IndyWest Harley Davidson family in your thoughts and prayers.
Please see the following information for her services

Apr 12, 1959 – Feb 5, 2018

Debra Ann “Debbie” Sarmiento, 58, of Danville, passed from this life after a courageous battle with brain cancer at 11:05 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Countryside Meadow in Avon, Indiana. She is the daughter of Edwin S. “Pete” Elliott III and Marilyn Jane (Farmer) Keown and was born on Sunday, April 12, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Debbie spent her childhood in Hendricks County, Indiana, and graduated from Brownsburg High School with the class of 1977. In her early twenties, she became a flight attendant and worked for United Airlines for 21 years, traveling all over the world. She was passionate about traveling and especially loved the international travel and numerous trips to Hawaii. Most recently, Debbie had worked as a retail manager for Harley Davidson apparel at various stores in Indiana and Colorado until her health forced her to take medical retirement in August 2017.
In addition to traveling, she also loved to read, ride her Harley Davidson, make others laugh and have good ole’ fashion fun! Her greatest joy was undeniably her son, Cody…. the two shared an extraordinary and indescribable bond!
Debbie was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Avon, Indiana, and had been attending the Connection Pointe Church in Brownsburg.
